A resident of Bonita Springs, Florida, Ellen Polite balances her efforts as a university student and emerging marketing professional with a commitment to the community. As a member and big sister with the Zeta Tau Alpha philanthropic society, she has volunteered with organizations such as the American Cancer Society. Additionally, Ellen Polite mentors younger members of the organization.

Ellen Polite attended Seneca Falls High School in Harmony, Pennsylvania, where she accrued a 3.6 GPA while receiving varsity letters in swimming and diving. She builds upon this academic success as a current student pursuing a marketing degree at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. Since enrolling at the university, she has taken courses in areas such as managerial accounting, business finance, and marketing research.

While pursuing her marketing degree Ellen Polite has gained professional experience through two internships, including one with an international company. As a marketing intern with the Barcelona-based Neventum, she worked with the IT department to develop the Spanish company’s US website while collaborating with the marketing department to expand the firm’s supplier network. Since 2017, she has served as a digital marketing intern with the Bonita Springs firm Artichoke and Company, where she handles a wide range of graphic design, web development, and administrative tasks.
